How to recognize ZonaVenta

  • Email: we only write from addresses ending in @zonaventa.com (for example, no-responder@zonaventa.com or hola@zonaventa.com). Check letter by letter: zonaventas.com, zona-venta.com or zonaventa-soporte.com are not ours.
  • Website: only https://zonaventa.com. Before typing your password, check that the address bar says exactly zonaventa.com.
  • Telegram: only @ZonaVentaBot. WhatsApp: only +1 849 565 6580.
  • We never ask for your password, by email, chat or phone. Links to verify your number or change your password only arrive if you ask for them on zonaventa.com: if you get one you didn't ask for, don't open it.
  • Did someone write to you pretending to be ZonaVenta? Forward the message to seguridad@zonaventa.com.

Before you meet up

  • Choose public, busy places: shopping centers, banks, places with security.
  • Avoid isolated or unfamiliar places, or ones arranged at the last minute.
  • Don't go alone, especially for a vehicle, a property, electronics, or cash.
  • Tell a family member or someone you trust where you're going, at what time, and with whom.
  • If you can, share your real-time location for the duration of the meeting.
  • Verify the other person's phone number and identity before you leave home.

During the meeting

  • Physically check the item and confirm its condition before paying.
  • Whenever reasonable, pay on delivery.
  • Take the time you need. Rushing is what someone with something to hide does.

About money

  • Don't send deposits or advance payments to anyone you haven't verified.
  • Never share passwords, OTP codes, bank PINs, or card details. No legitimate party will ever ask for them.
  • For vehicles and properties, check the documentation and ownership before any significant payment.
  • If you're paid by deposit or bank transfer, confirm with your bank that the money arrived before you hand anything over. A screenshot of the receipt isn't enough.

When to be suspicious

  • The price is far below market value with no clear reason.
  • They pressure you to pay quickly or decide on the spot.
  • The account was created very recently and has no history.
  • They ask you to pay outside the normal flow, to someone else, or to another country.
  • They refuse to show the item, to meet in public, or to share verifiable details.

If something doesn't add up, don't go through with it. Report the listing or the user and we'll review it.

ZonaVenta connects buyers and sellers. We don't intervene in, hold, or directly oversee transactions between parties. Each user is responsible for verifying the information, documentation, condition, and terms of a transaction before completing it.

Your safety is also part of a good sale.
