Tips to sell better

Habits that help your listing look complete, clear and trustworthy.

A good price starts with a good comparison

Good photos don't make up for a price far above what others are asking. Check what similar things are going for in your own area, not the whole city. Check listed prices.

If your listing gets few inquiries, check its views, photos, details and price before deciding what to adjust.

Respond fast

  • People who ask are usually comparing several options. Answering soon gives you a better chance to close.
  • The longer it takes, the more likely that person is already talking to another seller.
  • If you can't reply right away, that's fine: the ZonaVenta assistant answers the buyer with your listing's details and lets you know.

Follow up

Most sales don't close on the first contact. Someone who asked and didn't come back isn't lost — they're busy. If an inquiry was left pending, pick it back up when you have useful information or a next step to offer.

Keep your listing active

  • Update the price if it dropped. We show the price history, and a visible drop can bring new inquiries.
  • Renew before it expires, or tick "Renew automatically" in your panel and it renews itself while it has renewals left. Every renewal moves it back to the top. Nobody sees an expired listing.
  • If it already sold, mark it as sold. It helps everyone, including you.

Put it in the spotlight with a Boost

A Boost costs RD$300 and shows your listing labelled Featured on top for 7 days on the front page, in search, Where to go and Jobs. You can buy several and they stack. Those spots rotate every few minutes among paid listings, so it is not a fixed spot and it does not guarantee sales: it gives you more turns to be seen. If someone sorts by price, that order is respected. It works best on a listing with good photos and complete details.
